Jones Law, PLLC, is pleased to announce that Zachary Jones (Fayetteville, Tennessee) has been appointed as a member of the House of Delegates for the Tennessee Bar Association, representing the 17th Judicial District. Mr. Jones will serve a four-year term in the House. The 17th Judicial District covers Bedford, Lincoln, Marshall, and Moore counties.
The TBA House of Delegates considers, debates, and makes policy recommendations on matters of interest and concern to the legal profession. Regarding his appointment, Mr. Jones stated “I look forward to serving the people of Lincoln, Bedford, Marshall, and Moore County by pushing policies that expand available legal services.” When asked about his goals, Mr. Jones said he wants to focus on “improving access to justice because being able to take a grievance to an independent judge and jury of your peers is a fundamental American right. We hear a lot of talk about ‘law and order' but without access to the courts and a skilled attorney who can take you through the process, law and order is just punchline for TV pundits.”
