Kelly is a committed attorney with extensive experience advising governmental agencies, multinational corporations, and various stakeholders in the construction, manufacturing, and logistics industries. He leverages his expertise to serve the needs of owners, contractors, subcontractors, design professionals, and material suppliers in all phases of the construction process, including disputes and litigation.
Specializing in occupational safety & health law, Kelly provides representation and counsel to employers. Having served in both public and private capacities within this field, he brings a wealth of knowledge to his clients. As the former General Counsel of the Kentucky Labor Cabinet, Department of Workplace Standards (“Kentucky OSHA”), Kelly gained extensive experience litigating OSHA and Wage and Hour disputes in administrative courts. He now represents employers in administrative matters, including contesting OSHA citations, navigating OSHA inspections, and providing employee training.
Kelly is committed to utilizing his experience to offer thorough and effective legal counsel, ensuring his clients are well-prepared and confident in addressing their issues. He has contributed to several legal publications on topics related to occupational safety & health law and is available to speak at industry conferences and seminars upon request.
When not practicing law, Kelly enjoys playing golf, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife and children.
